Well i see your point and then again I don't, It is true that MM's rock - but the best MM's usually have more then just 2 skills, they usually bring feinds and either horror or minions, they have vertas sacrifice and blood of the master i belive its called.
Plus other characters are needed to deal damage and kill stuff faster, And if a mm is by themselve there minions will die beacuse everything will attack them and then they attack you.
But you are right, They deal a lot of damage and its a strong build, Plus don't forget there is a lot of places that have monsters that don't leave a corpse or there may be other enemies that raise feinds (stone summit gnashers for example)

I switched to fiends out of curtesy to the warriors, who couldn't even get to the mobs when they were surrounded by minions. As it turs out it only made it worse because fiends are even more efficient at killing. I had other MM skills unlocked never needed to use them. People grouped with me usually ended up standing there watching because doing anything was pointless.
The only place I couldn't use them was abaddons mouth and hells preciple.

Should I not use skills available to me because they're too good?
Um, yeah ok.

I call that more than effective, it's unbalanced as it is. Of all the classes in the game, thats the only build I thought was completely rediculous.
If you've played one I dont see how you can argue.

Um...the necro has a good ability & you are upset??

I guess thats the kind of response to expect from some people when something is blatantly overpowered
Yes I must be unique, I actually like balance.

Tengu/Ettin farming is a breeze for MM's. In fact most places are where you can kill a few neutral animals (or take on an easy mob) for their corpses before going after the lucrative kills.
This "no-brainer" build is so easy to blitz through PvE, though the tedium of healing minions saps interest fast. I now just use this when I need to make sizable amounts quick as the "fun" level is very low in my books.

Keyote: I think you're full of excrement.
Ring of Fire isn't well suited to minionmancers, as there's not all that many enemies, and not all enemies drop corpses (e.g. jade armor dont), and using only veratas sacrifice you can't keep them alive for long. I use veratas sacrifice, blood of the master AND heal area to keep my minions alive, and even so it's not easy when one mursaat kan degen one minion in just a second, or you have to run across lava.
It wasn't your uber mm skills which made the islands easy, it was the heal-spamming monk that kept your minions alive, and the necro spamming orders which made sure they did serious damage. Try it with henches and you'll see.
Tengu/Ettin farming? Give me a break, that's a breeze for any profession. MM isn't uber as it relies on there being a constant, plentiful, supply of corpses. It works well in Sorrows Furnace, but Ring of Fire? Feh.

Ah, I sorry to have distrupted your little 'I am right, everyone else is wrong' thread.
If you didn't want other peoples opinions then you shouldn't have bothered posting this thread. Wouldn't it have been easier to just look in a mirror and ask your self?
Keyote "I'm right"
Mirror reflection of Keyote "I'm right"
There you go, problem solved.

I suppose they're balanced in so far as they're completely redundant in PvP(except in certain GvG maps).

I wasn't asking if I'm right, read the thread title. Anyone can go make a MM and see for themselves, it doesn't require any amount of skill to press 2 buttons. Neither of them are even elite.
The question had more to do with why so many things get changed but the most insane build in the PvE game doesn't.

And I still say you're full of excrement when you claim that 'summon bone horror' and 'veratas sacrifice' are somehow an uber build. For Ring of Fire or anywhere except the lowest-level areas. Again, you didn't dominate because of those two skills, but because of your team. Try with henches, and you'll see.

No such thing as 'over-powered' in pve.

I usually do not go as warrior when a MM is in the group, its is very annoying since I get to do nothing.
But MMs rock.
